Scripture reading is foundational to the Christian faith. On Wednesday nights, we have been studying Eugene Peterson's book, "Eat This Book: A Conversation in the Art of Spiritual Reading."
This book challenges us to look past a simple reading of the Bible and look to the relationship of reading, prayer, engagement, and living the text. We are challenged to read "in such a way that our lives become congruent with the text. Convinced that this text was the authority for living well both now and into eternity, we want to get it all and get it right.”
Class begins at 6:30 in the Senior Adult room (room #201). Childcare is provided.
